In case you were hoping for a bit more Texas love this week - Galaxy Parade (Houston) are out with a 5 song EP called The Madness ! 

It’s loud, frenetic, beautiful, evocative, and brilliantly played, sung, and produced. Great moments throughout, but for this listener, “One Night In Your Next Life” stands out from the pack with its classic genre feel and melancholy earworm melody.

The most commercially useful category for what Galaxy Parade does is probably “pop punk” - and it’s definitely appropriate - just make sure you’re thinking of the richer, riffier, and more complex end of that spectrum, because what this band serves up is more like a full meal than a smoothie.
